Ceremonies by Simon

Hi. I won't waffle on too much, so this is just a quick intro to me and my celebrant business 'Ceremonies by Simon', the rest I will tell you, when we meet for a no obligation video chat.

The first thing I will tell you, and pretty relevant as well, is that I have been married three times. My third time was only last September 2023 to a lovely lady I met on the dating site 'Plenty of fish'.

Now in my mid to late fifties, I've got a fair bit of life and love experience for sure, that I love to express throughout my scripts, especially for couples of 'an age' shall we say, that may or may not have been married before.

There is something very special about finding love again later in life, and I'm sure this will resonate with many of you reading this. I'm not by any means insinuating that finding love and getting married in your early to late 20's or 30's, is by any means, not as special, I'm purely drawing on my own experiences, which thereby tells a tale.

So, I started 'Ceremonies by Simon' after training with the ‘Academy of modern celebrancy’ and qualifying as a wedding celebrant upon successful assessment and completion of the course.

It has been a testing journey for many reasons, not least, wedding celebrants are two for a penny now, and for you love birds, researching and finding a suitable celebrant, can be tiresome experience, which I wholeheartedly understand, and will not be in the slightest upset, should you decide I am not right for your special day.

If you think I maybe the celebrant for you so far, I promise you, not like every other celebrant blurb you will read on their websites etc, I promise you that my life and love experience, my personality, my ethos, ethics and demeanour, allow me to express myself, and everything about you and your journey together so far, that has brought you to me.

I will create your ceremony script, exactly how you want it to be, and/or given free rein, by the time your wedding ceremony is just a couple of weeks or so away, you will have the most beautiful, romantic, humorous, respectful, loving and tear jerking script, even William Shakespear will be astonished with, well maybe not, because he’s no longer alive of course!, but I think you know what I’m saying.

2026 Wedding & Vow Renewals:

£600+ travel @ 50ppm over 50 miles radius from Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Accommodation at cost if required.
